When a new baby is on the horizon she will help you find the words to express your hopes, your dreams and prayers for the new child.
Baby namings are Jewish ceremonies to welcome a new baby girl into the Jewish community. Baby naming can happen with baby girls as young as eight days old, or anytime after. Every Jewish child should have a Hebrew name prior to the moment they start studying for their Bar or Bat Mitzvah. Rabbi Deborah is available to officiate at baby naming ceremonies and she will also help you choose a Hebrew name.
Baby boys receive their Hebrew names during the Brit Milah, the ritual circumcision. However, Rabbi Deborah would be happy to officiate at a baby naming for a boy, if for some reason he did not receive his Hebrew.
