New class: Judaism 102, Monday nights in Redondo Beach

Judaism 102 is a course for those who already have a basic understanding of Judaism. The class has begun, but it has open and ongoing enrollment. The class meets at 7:30pm on Monday nights. We begin each class by studying a prayer, and then we go on to discuss various other topics (“Trends in Reform Jewish personal practice”, “Evolving approaches to prayer“,  “Ethical dilemmas”,  “Modern understandings of God”,  “Modern understandings of Feminism“). About Rabbi Deborah:

Rabbi Deborah Goldmann, ordained by the Hebrew Union College-Jewish Institute of Religion in Los Angeles,has been officiating weddings and other life cycle ceremonies since 2001, and teaching for fourteen years. Currently, Rabbi Deborah lives in the South Bay of Los Angeles with her husband and daughter.

Rabbi Deborah is sensitive to the needs of same-faith, same-sex, and interfaith couples, families, and individuals.
